Ancient Prior’s Mozzetta of the Confraternita dei Bianchi of Gavi (Piemonte, Italy) founded in 1399. Hand embroidered in its entirety with gold and silver threads. Restored and carried-over on a new piece of black velvet. The restoration and remake of the parts that were too deteriorated have been done entirely by hand using the exact same technique employed to craft the original Mozzetta.

The pictures below show the state in which the Mozzetta was before the restoration work we did on this magnificent Vestment, work that took it back to its former glory maintaining the wonderful embroidery work.
